For a project that took 6 weeks to complete it was a very easy, pleasant, smooth process. They removed my failing chimney, and it was done safely and efficiently. I was looking into getting a new sliding glass door. The rep who gave me the estimate was the perfect professional: no-nonsense, no up selling, took my specifications and the measurements and had a product, price, and timeline for me to consider in minutes. Nova Construction Pros are the first ones I call when I need work done. I've had Ram and his team do numerous repair and refurbishment jobs both inside and outside my house.  They're timely, responsive, and, most importantly, do good work. UPDATE: 2025 Got a new house and had them come in for lots of assorted clean up and upgrades. Foundation and waterproofing repair We discovered that the original builder had not put in the corners of our house foundation correctly and every time it rained we would get moisture seeping into the basement. In the course of the repair the workers also discovered a faulty gutter which caused rot to some of the wall. Ram and his team were absolutely fantastic to work with! They were very flexible with our schedule, well priced, and really great to work with. We are incredibly happy with the outcome of our new egress window! They also handled all the permitting and made everything easy on that end - so great to know it was done according to standards. I recommend Nova Construction Pro not only for their work but for their owner and office manager.  To have a team that stays in contact with you and returns your calls is an attribute. Räm's team are respectful, knowledgeable, and want to do a good job. We recently overhauled our 20 year old deck into a lovely screened in porch with composite flooring, upgraded screen, and vinyl railings and trim.  Moved an exterior door and window leading onto deck. We had three estimates and chose Nova Construction Pro because they knew their products, scope of work that needed to be done, and easy to talk with. They worked with our budget and our wants. I commend NOVA Construction Pro and owner Ram Nabar for his and his crews' knowledge, can-do attitude, and exquisite craftsmanship.  I used them between October-August 2024 on the following major projects:  deck rebuild and improvement + retaining walls for expanded external storage; foundation repair with advanced epoxy for large expanding and leaking horizontal cracks due to earthquake + associated stoop repair/exterior and interior foundation waterproofing (mature landscaping gently removed then replanted without damage); restoration, carpentry, drywall + painting of large basement closet and glassed in book shelves to match existing bookshelves after flooding from burst pipes; replacement of basement carpet with ~1000 sqf of LVP flooring and martching stairs; repair of tiled floor and replacement of an egress French door in basement.  The lead deck carpenter and his partner are exceptionally skilled and careful--their work is simply beautiful. They salvaged the original infrastructure including imported teak screening then completely redid the 1000 sqf deck with premium mineralized composite decking, new vinyl and aluminum railings and stairs + installation of Trex Rain Escape with gutters, soffits, stopping all water damage near house. Excavation under the deck created new storage with engineer-designed long concrete retaining walls  and a concrete floor with drainage that were permitted without problem and stopped problematic erosion.  The lead basement carpenter was also painstakingly precise and experienced and multi-skilled. The hard work and kind/thoughtful attitudes of these carpenters and their teams made all the difference.  Ram is a pleasure--innovative in design, pragmatically solution oriented, and very responsive to all manner of questions and requests. He remains positively involved throughout project lives and brings them in at estimate. This last completed project was the third large project which was completed by Nova Construction Pro for us.   We had significant work in our crawl space which included, amongst other things, 17 joists, a masonry lintel, and floor repairs. The second was a French drain for our flooding back yard. Most recently it was wall and ceiling structural and cosmetic repairs. I do not hesitate to call Ram every time I need work done because I know it will be done well and priced reasonably. Every time things were discovered which ware not planned for or else things were not as bad as we guessed when the estimate was made, as tends to happen when opening up walls and floors, and always the project scope and cost was reasonably amended.  This is one of the primary reasons I like working with Ram. I would not hesitate to recommend use if this company. I contracted them to resurface my front concrete stairs and rebuild a stone garden retainer wall. I chose them after comparing proposals with several other companies. They were most responsive and professional, came in with the best price and performed the job within schedule and budget. We had an old cracked and sloped stoop that needed to be completely replaced. Ram and Dom arrived the following day after requesting a consultation and gave a reasonable quote. His team did a great job and we even caught them on our ring security camera taking photos of themselves in front of the stoop proud of their work once it was finished. I can't say enough good things about Ram (the owner) and Nova Construction. Having been burned in the past by company's that market well and have good reviews but have bad craftsmanship or are just bad business people I approached Nova Construction cautiously.  I had nothing to worry about. Ram's team came and did an inspection of the job site when it was convenient to me. Their communication through was 5-star. Their pricing was perfect.
